Callan brings over 20 years of project engineering and management experience in the civil infrastructure industry, having delivered major transport and civil projects throughout South East Queensland. His career spans both Principal and Contractor roles, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of design development, constructability, and project delivery across all phases of construction.

Throughout his career, Callan has contributed to the successful delivery of significant infrastructure projects including the $600M Bruce Highway Upgrade – Caloundra Road to Sunshine Motorway (CR2SM), the $1.5B Origin Alliance – Darra to Goodna Ipswich Motorway Upgrade, and the $90M Caloundra Road & Caloundra–Mooloolaba Road (Kawana Link) Upgrade, all for the Department of Transport and Main Roads. His technical expertise covers complex road and bridge construction, traffic management in high-speed environments, and major service relocations.

Since joining SGQ, Callan has led the successful delivery of complex road and bridge projects and now oversees SGQ’s pre-contracts and tendering activities. His extensive DTMR experience and focus on practical engineering solutions ensure that SGQ maintains competitive, compliant, and constructible outcomes for all client engagements.
