About the Role
SGQ is seeking an experienced HR Water Truck Operator to support civil infrastructure projects across the Fraser Coast region.
This role is suited to a reliable operator with strong civil construction experience, particularly across subdivision and road projects. Candidates with relevant licences and military experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
The HR Water Truck Operator will be responsible for:
- Operating water trucks safely and effectively on civil construction projects
- Ensuring manufacturer guidelines are followed
- Performing general labouring duties when not operating or driving
- Operating other equipment within machine capabilities as required
- Setting up and operating refilling water pumps
- Upholding and enforcing safe work procedures
- Working collaboratively with the site team to support project success
- Participating in training as required
- Supporting safety and environmental responsibilities on site
What We’re Looking For
SGQ is looking for someone with:
- At least 5 years’ experience in civil construction
- Proven experience in pavement construction for subdivisions and road projects
- Strong understanding of water pumps
- Ability to present for work in a fit and healthy condition
- Willingness to participate in training and upskilling
- A reliable, team-focused approach to civil construction work

- Relevant civil construction experience
